WELCOME to the ADULT MINISTRIES PRAYER MEMO

This page exists because many of you requested to be a part of a prayer emphasis for Adult Ministries in the Church of the Nazarene.

Please spend at least one minute per day praying for the written request and other local or district adult ministries concerns. You will be in our prayers as we take this prayer journey together.

WEEK of February 8, 2010

Monday—Pray that Nazarene adults involved in outreach and daycare ministries will have the opportunity to offer mercy and care through their ministries. Pray God will bless their efforts to those needing to experience God’s love and hope.

Tuesday—Pray for prime time adults who have found it necessary to live with their children. Pray these families will experience unity and God’s peace as they merge two households.

Wednesday—Pray that Nazarene men will be an inspiring model of God’s love and grace in their roles as husbands and fathers. Pray they will honor their wives and inspire their children.

Thursday—Pray the presence of the Holy Spirit will be very real to the prisoners enrolled in the CLT (Continuing Lay Training) Prison Bible Study program. Pray they will be effective witnesses for Christ in a difficult environment. For more information about CLT visit www.clt.nazarene.org.

Friday—Pray for your local and district Adult Ministries councils as it envisions, develops, and plans ministry events.

Saturday—Pray for the single adults in your church. Pray they will be a witness of God’s love and steadfastness in a time of shifting values.

Sunday—Pray that as Nazarene couples celebrate Valentine’s Day they will reaffirm their love and commitment for God as well as to each other.
