I love farmer’s markets and Madison has one of the best I have ever seen. It’s like being at a circus! There are booths encircling the beautiful state capitol building. Throngs of people are going in every direction talking, laughing, babies crying, people selling their produce...what fun! 

Karen and I recently made our first market visit. I dropped her off while I went to park the car. Finding no available parking in the designated lots, I found a spot on the street and put money into the parking meter. A man pulled in behind me and asked if he needed to put in money since it was a Saturday. I shrugged, responded, “Yes,” and jogged off to meet Karen.

CLT to Host Bible Study
On Thursday, August 5, 2010, Dr. Tom Barnard will be the facilitator for a conference call hosted by Continuing Lay Training. On this call Dr. Barnard will discuss the first miracle in the Gospel of John (John 2:1-12) and will focus on the relevance of this miracle for 21st Century Christians. He will be teaching from the NIV but will refer to other translations as well.
